Leeds: 'Extraordinary' £100k-a-week star could now make Elland Road exit
Leeds United forward Rodrigo could leave Elland Road if Jesse Marsch’s side are relegated this season, claims transfer insider Pete O’Rourke.
The Whites face losing some of their stars this summer, with their status as a Premier League club currently on the line, and O’Rourke thinks that includes the 31-year-old.
While Leeds were never completely out of trouble, they looked to be in a decent position after picking up wins against Norwich City, Wolves and Watford in March and April. It made the Yorkshire club’s decision to sack Marcelo Bielsa and replace him with Marsch look completely justified at the time.
However, following their 2-1 defeat to Arsenal over the weekend and Everton’s upturn in form, they now find themselves in the relegation zone.
To make things worse, Leeds have also played one more game than Frank Lampard’s men, while their next match is against third-placed Chelsea.
Fortunately for the Whites, Burnley, who are just above them, take on Tottenham next, while their upcoming opponents Chelsea have not been in great form of late. Make no mistake, though, they are undoubtedly in serious danger with just three fixtures to go until the season ends.

If Leeds cannot beat the drop this month, O’Rourke thinks Rodrigo, who joined the club from Valencia on an alleged £100,000-a-week deal back in 2020, could be sold.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the football journalist said: “He is a quality player, Rodrigo. Leeds fans, I don’t think they’ve seen the best of him. If they go down, I think they might have a problem keeping him.
“He might have to be sold because he’s on big wages, and I’m not too sure if he would be willing to stay
