Leeds can solve Manchester United’s transfer Achilles heel if Jadon Sancho position remains

Manchester United's clash with Leeds United is sure to be played out amid an exhilarating atmosphere at Elland Road.

Each team is in need of three points and Leeds' supporters will relish welcoming United's faithful to their patch for the first time since winning promotion in 2020.

Ralf Rangnick has said his team are prepared for the game and warned his side face a different sort of contest against Marcelo Bielsa's men.

“Leeds are playing in a very special way," he said. “They are playing very fast transitional football when they are in possession. When they pass the ball they are trying to increase the tempo of the game.

“They probably play with the highest speed and tempo [in the Premier League]. On the other hand, they have conceded quite a few goals and I think we know we are prepared for the game.”

Leeds have loads of influential players that help them play in that particular way and one of those is Raphinha, who's been absolutely sensational for Bielsa this season.

The 25-year-old Brazilian winger has easily been the Yorkshire side's best player this season and has so far scored eight goals and assisted on two occasions in 21 Premier League matches.

His impressive form has seen him linked to a host of top European clubs, with the likes of Bayern Munich and United both rumoured to be admirers.

At the same time, there will be United supporters who think the club shouldn't go for Raphinha because that's what Jadon Sancho was signed for - to occupy the right-hand channel for the next few seasons.

However, in reality it's not quite panned out that way.
