Manchester United next manager search LIVE Latest odds, Pochettino update, Ten Hag stance

Manchester United are well underway with their search for a new permanent manager after the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November 2021.

Interim United manager Ralf Rangick oversaw an important 2-0 home win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday night but he is set to move into a backroom role with a new man coming into the Old Trafford hot seat.

The Manchester Evening News understands that Paris Saint-Germain chief Mauricio Pochettino and Ajax boss Erik ten Hag are the two currently in the frame for the position, with the club working to appoint a new manager before the end of the season.

However, Real Madrid may throw a spanner in the works with interest in the former Tottenham boss, having twice previously failed to lure Pochettino to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Follow the live blog below as we'll be bringing all the latest updates and developments as the club continue their search for Solskjaer's full-time successor.

Here are the latest odds for who could become Manchester United's next permanent manager:

Odds are from SkyBet and are correct as of February 19, 2022.

Sancho played predominantly on the right in Germany, but he is being deployed as a left-winger under Ralf Rangnick. Given the form of Marcus Rashford on the left before his injury, I assumed that the club would develop the young English winger on the opposite wing.
