Lee Nicholls speaks out on Huddersfield Town’s play-off defeat and 2021/22 campaign

Huddersfield Town were one of the main surprise packages in the Championship this season and came agonisingly close to making the step up to the Premier League.

Carlos Corberan and the majority of players in the squad have significantly increased the perception of their abilities and will be confident of bouncing back to compete in the top half of the division next term.

Lee Nicholls had a wonderful debut season with the Terriers, having fallen out of favour at Milton Keynes Dons the campaign prior, and he shared his reaction to the play-off defeat but also season as a whole when he spoke to The Yorkshire Post.

He said: “It is just about dusting ourselves down now and coming back in pre-season and making sure every single one of us are ready to go again and be ready.
