League Two dig, Alf-Inge's reply - Roy Keane's feud with Erling Haaland as Man City ace hits back

Roy Keane's comments about Erling Haaland have now generated a response from the Manchester City striker.

Keane first remarked about Haaland after the goalless draw with Arsenal back in March. The Manchester United legend referred to Haaland as a "League Two player", which has generated plenty of headlines in the weeks since he made the comments.

Haaland scored four goals for City in the 5-1 win over Wolves on Saturday in the Premier League. After the game, Haaland was asked about Keane's 'League Two player' comments in an interview with Norwegian broadcaster Viaplay.

"I don't really care that much about that man, so that's all right," said Haaland in response to a question about Keane's previous remarks.

"In front of goal he's the best in the world, but his general play for such a player - it is so poor," Keane told Sky Sports. "Not just today. He has to improve that.

"He's almost like a League Two player - that's the way I look at him. His general play has to improve. It will do over the next few years. [He's a] brilliant striker but he has to improve his overall game."
