Latest Wimbledon odds: Novak Djokovic and Iga Swiatek emerge as early outright favourites
Novak Djokovic and Iga Swiatek have been named as the bookies favourites for this year's Wimbledon tournament in the singles format. Djokovic, will be seeking his seventh title and his fourth successive victory at SW19 with bookies Betway tipping him as 4/5 favourite.
Last year's finalist Matteo Berrettini will be looking to go one step further by becoming the first Italian to win Wimbledon's men's singles tournament since becoming to reach a final at SW19. He is 11/2 to make history and starts his Wimbledon campaign on Day Two facing Chilean and world number 44 Cristian Garin.
Elsewhere, two-time champion Rafael Nadal is 7/1 to win with the Spaniard returning to south-west London for the first time since 2019. The current Australian Open and French Open champion will be looking to achieve a career first of three Grand Slam wins in the same calendar year by picking up his first Wimbledon title in 12 years.
Meanwhile, in the women's game Swiatek will be looking to add to her collection of trophies after impressing in Roland Garros once more. The Pole won her second French Open in three years in Paris ahead of this tournament and will be looking to improve her form on grass courts but will be a tough ask with a career best finish in the fourth round last year.
Following Ashleigh Barty's shock retirement, the women's singles title is up for grabs with no defending champion this season. Romanian and 2019 winner Simona Halep is 16/1 in what will be her first SW19 appearance since lifting the trophy while US Open champion and British sensation Emma Raducanu is a distant 40/1.
