Latest twist as Nottingham Forest move for Huddersfield Town's Lewis O'Brien & Harry Toffolo back on

Nottingham Forest's move for Huddersfield Town duo Lewis O'Brien and Harry Toffolo is now back on, in yet another transfer twist.

As reported by Yorkshire Live early on Tuesday, Forest's move for the pair had broken down.

But after reaching a halt, Yorkshire Live understands transfer talks are now moving again and as things stand it's looks likely that the deals will go ahead.

However, as the last 24 hours have shown, things can quickly change. Reports elsewhere claim O'Brien is in Nottingham with his family ready for his move to be sealed.

Forest identified the Town duo as targets after beating Terriers in last season's play-off final at Wembley.

Town have been realistic about the prospects of keeping the duo this summer, with head of football operations Leigh Bromby saying earlier this month: “If we can keep those players fantastic, [but] there's a reality to the situation: if there's Premier League interest, I'm sure the players have ambitions to play there. We have to respect and understand that."
