Huddersfield Town begin life after Harry Toffolo and Lewis O'Brien with St George's Park training camp

Huddersfield Town have began life without Harry Toffolo and Lewis O'Brien. The duo joined newly-promoted Premier League side Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.

Toffolo and O'Brien were linked with Nottingham Forest for much of the summer. Toffolo had one-year left on his deal in Yorkshire, while O'Brien ended a 12-year association with Huddersfield, admitting that joining Forest was a 'no-brainer'.

Life without the pair has began with a four-day training camp at St George's Park. New head coach Danny Schofield has taken his players to England's training base as preparations continue ahead of the 2022/23 season.

The Terriers have been put through their paces in the Burton upon Trent heat, with Huddersfield taking on Tranmere Rovers and Bolton Wanderers in their final pre-season friendlies on Saturday, July 23.

In a video on Huddersfield's YouTube channel, spirits within the squad appeared to be high, with the players being worked hard on the pitch and in the gym. They also enjoyed time in the pool at the impressive St George's Park.

Huddersfield's Championship season kicks off against recently-relegated Burnley on Friday, July 29, but Schofield has admitted that there is still plenty for the Terriers to work on before then.
