Lamar Jackson: Critical update emerges on Ravens QB's health ahead of Patriots clash

Lamar Jackson is reportedly set to be in a good state of health to play this coming Sunday according to Ian Rapaport.

The past few weeks and months have certainly been something of a weird and far from smooth one for both the Baltimore Ravens and their star quarterback Lamar Jackson.

The two sides were locked in a pretty long series of contract negotiations for the vast majority of the offseason, with Jackson seeking to be paid like one of the best quarterbacks in the league and to be in line with some of the big quarterback contracts that were handed out this offseason.

It is a title that he deserves, as coming into this season he had put up a total of 13,640 yards with both his arm and his legs whilst providing a total of 106 touchdowns since making his debut in 2018, even winning league MVP back in 2019, becoming arguably the best dual-threat quarterback in the league in the process and making the Ravens a formidable threat.

Jackson was still at his lightning best on the day, throwing for 316 yards and 2 touchdowns whilst also having 119 rushing yards by himself, including a 79-yard touchdown run that looked like it put the game to bed.
