Kyogo turns Celtic boogie choreographer as THAT celebration against Kilmarnock explained

Nicolas Kuhn joined Matt O’Riley in dancing to the tune of Kyogo. And the German also savoured seeing Anthony Ralston display scoring shapes as the champions waltzed straight to the top of the Premiership.

Celtic’s twinkle-toed trio hit the floor to celebrate Kuhn’s strike in the success over Kilmarnock. With the balletic poise of Reo Hatate headlining the show, the champions’ feet were a blur against the Ayrshire side as they cut an impressive first-day dash. The Japanese midfielder scored the opener against the Ayrshire outfit, but it wasn’t until Kuhn hit the team’s third goal that the routine inspired by his countryman was uncorked.

Kuhn explained: “One of us had to score to do the celebration. We knew before what we wanted to do. We listened to some Japanese music in the dressing room, and then Kyogo came up with the dance. We said we’re going to do the dance. So I’m happy that I scored.”

Kuhn doesn’t claim to be the smoothest mover in the club, but, clearly, he’ll have a go. He continued: “I think Luis is the best dancer. There’s a group of really, really nice boys and I’m just happy to to be here.”

Perhaps Ralston should have been one doing the jigs as his goal, the fourth of the day, ensured Celtic would finish the opening weekend in their customary spot at the top of the table. Not only that, it was the defender’s first club strike since his last-gasp headed winner against Ross County in Dingwall back in December 2021 during Ange Postecoglou’s first term.

Naturally, Ralston kept his celebrations more low-key and Kuhn quipped: “I don’t think Tony can dance! I think he has to score some more goals and then maybe he gets into dancing. We were really happy for Tony that he scored at the end. I think it just shows
