Kym Marsh issues defiant message over love life after telling fans 'by the way'

Kym Marsh has appeared to have addressed her love life after sharing a new post on social media. The actress and presenter shared a sweet snap of herself and her son on Instagram as she declared him as the only man in her life right now.

David, who she welcomed in 1995, is the eldest of her children. He was born when Kym was dating builder Dave Cunliffe who she met in 1994 and became engaged to before ultimately splitting in 1999. The former couple also share daughter Emilie together, who arrived two years after her older brother.

Kym later welcomed a second son, Archie, with her then-husband actor Jamie Lomas in in 2009. Tragically, he was born stillborn at 21 weeks of pregnancy. The former Hear'Say star later won huge praise for the harrowing Corrie storyline in 2017 which saw her character Michelle Connor go through the devastating loss of her baby Ruairi at 23 weeks after suffering a similar heartbreak in real life.

The couple then later found joy when they welcomed daughter Polly into the world in 2011 but Kym and Jamie divorced back in 2014 after two years of marriage. Kym then found love again and married ex-soldier Scott Ratcliff in 2021.

But Kym was all about her beloved son when she took to social media over the weekend and in the black and white snap, the Waterloo Road star could be seen with her arms around her eldest child as she planted a kiss on his cheek.

"The only man I need!!! @cunliffe890 I love you son," Kym, 47, captioned the post before her fans and followers were quick to respond, including singer Emilie who
