Kylian Mbappe to leave PSG? Video of Cristiano Ronaldo is eye-opening

Kylian Mbappe reportedly wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain as soon as possible after feeling “betrayed” by the club.

That’s according to French football expert Julien Laurens, who’s rarely wrong about these things.

Mbappe signed a lucrative new contract with PSG back in the summer, one which sees him earn over £1.5 million-a-week in wages – as per the Capology website.

Mbappe flirted with a move to Real Madrid for most of last season, but eventually decided to remain in his home city.

So why does the 23-year-old striker want to leave PSG less than a year after signing a new deal?

Well, according to journalist Matteo Moretto, there are several key reasons.

Mbappe is said to be unhappy that Christophe Galtier was hired as manager over Zinedine Zidane, while his relationship with Neymar has deteriorated.

There is also reportedly a split between groups in the squad, one led by Neymar and Lionel Messi versus another headed by Mbappe, Sergio Ramos and Achraf Hakimi.

And on top of that, Mbappe is not happy with the fact that he’s been deployed as a No.9 this season rather than having a ‘free role’ in the team.

Yeah, it’s all getting a bit messy at PSG once again…

In the wake of the news about Mbappe demanding a ‘free role’ at PSG, an eye-opening video of Cristiano Ronaldo – who Mbappe knowingly idolises – from his younger days at Real Madrid has emerged on social media.

During the short clip, the current Manchester United forward is asked where he would like to play in the team.

Ronaldo goes on to say that he can play on the left, right or through the middle, before going on to say these five magical words: “I just want to play.”
