Kyle Walker explains why he fathered second child with Lauryn Goodman in just five words

Manchester City's Kyle Walker gave a five word response when asked what had led him to father a second child with Lauryn Goodman.

The 34-year-old England defender came face-to-face with the reality star over a two-day hearing at a family court to discuss financial arrangements for their two children, a boy named Kairo and a baby girl known only as KW.

Kyle split with his wife and childhood sweetheart Annie in January after it was revealed that he had fathered a second child Lauryn, 33, but they have since reconciled, the Mirror reports.

When Lauryn, who claims Kyle has never met their baby girl, first announced her second pregnancy and the subsequent birth of her daughter, she claimed another unnamed footballer was the father. However, it later transpired that Kyle is the father to both of her children.

Speaking about his infidelity, Kyle, who shares four kids with Annie, insisted the time he spent with Lauryn was not 'intentional or premeditated'.

He said his second fling with the model and influencer occurred when he left his family home to travel to London for groin surgery after picking up an injury.

Explaining why they'd ended up conceiving a baby, Kyle said: "A lot was going on."

"It's not an excuse. I'd ruptured my groin, I had a World Cup to get fighting fit for," he told The Sun.

The dad-of-six had vowed not to have any contact with the influencer beyond ongoing financial arrangements regarding their son. But by August 2022, Lauryn had apparently revealed she was planning to move 245 miles from Brighton up north - close to Kyle's family home.
