Kurt Angle: WWE Hall of Famer details heartbreaking update on brain issues

Kurt Angle has revealed he is dealing with memory loss as the former WWE Superstar offered a heartbreaking update on his overall health.

The multi-time WWE Champion spoke about the concussions he’s suffered in his career, and the long-term impact that they’re unfortunately having on him now.

In what will come as a heartbreaking update to many, Angle said that he is dealing with memory loss as a result of the bangs he took to the head during his career.

Taking to ‘The Kurt Angle Show’ podcast this week, Angle said that he is dealing with some memory loss as a result of the four concussions he suffered throughout his career.

Angle explained, as you can see below, that three of the concussions he suffered were “pretty bad”, which explains why he’s dealing with the issues that he is right now, via WrestlingNews.co.

I would say I probably had four concussions that I know of. major. One was a slight concussion that wasn’t too bad. The other three were pretty bad.

As noted, Angle said that he has suffered some “damage” to his brain, and is now starting to “not remember things”, particularly as it comes to things from the past, which is quite worrying.

But, you know, even to this day, I’m starting to not remember things, you know, and I’m only in my early 50s. But, I’ve gotten a little damage to my brain, there’s no doubt about it. You know, my memory is not that great anymore. I really have to think hard about remembering the past.

Angle retired from WWE in April 2019, losing to Baron Corbin (now Happy Corbin) in his final match at WrestleMania 35.

Fans weren’t too happy with the decision to have Corbin as Angle’s final opponent, with many wanting to see the former WWE Champion face someone of a higher calibre.
