Kirkcudbright Community Tennis Club teams compete in Dumfries and Galloway Doubles League

Kirkcudbright Community Tennis Club entered three women’s teams and two men’s teams in this season’s Dumfries and Galloway Doubles League.

Fiona Craig, captain of the women’s second team The Slammers, said: “This year’s league matches were even more disrupted than usual by unpredictable weather, so it was great to end the season on a lovely summer evening with an exciting and hard fought match against Kirkcudbright Smashers.”

The mixed doubles league is about to get underway. Home matches are scheduled for Wednesdays at 6pm on July 24 and 31, August 21 and September 11. Supporters are very welcome.
