Kirby and the Forgotten Land: Copy Abilities

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a Nintendo Switch platform video game developed by HAL Laboratory and released in 2022. Here we learn about Kirby’s Copy Abilities.

It is the 13th mainline instalment in the Kirby series, as well as the series’ first fully 3D game (excluding spin-offs).

Copy Abilities are talents that Kirby can copy from certain enemies. If some enemies consume Kirby’s Copy Abilities, Kirby can copy their abilities.

The overall pool of abilities in Forgotten Land is reduced to twelve from the normal upwards of twenty. However, Forgotten Land makes up for it with its upgrade system. Every skill has two enhanced forms, with the majority having three.

The Kirby franchise is known for its inventive coping abilities, and we’ll have a look at the twelve Copy Abilities in the game.

You can copy abilities by holding down the B button, which will cause Kirby to get their ability. These aren’t the same as Kirby’s Mouthful Mode.

Remember, to copy an enemy’s ability, you need to hold down the B button while close to and facing the target. Kirby will ingest them and take on their power, and you’ll see this when Kirby’s outfit changes.
