Kinnoull's shot at glory in huge cup semi-final against Gala Fairydean Rovers

They will be classed as underdogs for what is a huge semi-final fixture.

But Kinnoull are determined to continue a special East of Scotland League Qualifying Cup journey.

The Perth side have impressively made it to the last four of the competition following a series of strong results.

Haddington Athletic were dramatically knocked out on penalties in the previous round and now a mouth-watering tie awaits at Tulloch Park.

Alan Cameron’s men will line-up on Saturday against Gala Fairydean Rovers of the Lowland League.

A prized place in the final is up for grabs, with Premier Division Linlithgow Rose awaiting the winners.

“The cup run so far has been a great experience for us as a team,” Brown said. “Winning on penalties against Haddington, after a really tough game, made all the hard work worth it.

“We know that we will need to be on the top of our game to win but we also know that, on our day, we can compete with anyone.

“These are definitely the games you want to play in and the ones that you look forward to. The core of the squad has been together for nearly five years now so to play in games like this is pretty special and makes us hungrier for more experiences like this.”

A hectic schedule has not stopped Kinnoull from piecing together a number of strong results in recent weeks - netting plenty of goals along the way.
