Kieran Tierney has Celtic fans slamming the Hotline panic button as Greg Taylor SOS sent by those left feeling cold

Celtic interest in taking Kieran Tierney back to Parkhead has generated much chat.

Interestingly, it’s not all positive in terms of the Arsenal star. Tierney is set to move from the Emirates and a reunion with ex-boss Brendan Rodgers is being mooted. However, Gerard Cameron said: “Kieran Tierney is a great player, but he is also accident prone and I don’t think he would be a good investment considering the price to pay for someone who might be out a lot injured. Buy a proven left back without a list of injuries.”

Stephen Mulhern, Dumbarton, added: “I hope rumours that Brendan Rodgers is trying to bring Kieran Tierney back are just that. You only need to look back at another Parkhead idol who also was at Arsenal that returning to your former club never works. Bringing him back for sentimental reasons isn’t the answer. Greg Taylor has his limitations, but he’s certainly not as injury prone as Tierney and I hope a new contract deal can be agreed going forward.”
