Kevin De Bruyne celebrates stunning Man City performance with brilliant social media post

Kevin De Bruyne has taken to social media to celebrate his stellar performance in Manchester City's 6-2 thrashing of Luton Town in the FA Cup.

Pep Guardiola's side booked their place in the last eight of the competition with a stunning performance at Kenilworth Road which saw Erling Haaland score five times before Mateo Kovacic added a sixth goal 18 minutes from time. De Bruyne, who missed over four months of the campaign after suffering a hamstring injury against Burnley in the opening game of the Premier League season, also enjoyed a night to remember as he claimed four assists against the Hatters.

Taking to social media on Wednesday morning, De Bruyne posted: "Good morning, how may I assist you?"

For the 31-year-old Belgium international, Tuesday night was further proof that he has put his injury troubles behind him and is ready to play a starring role in City's quest for Champions League and Premier League glory between now and the end of the season.

Speaking after the win, Guardiola said: "Erling needs a guy with the vision, quality, generosity," Guardiola said. "Kevin is a less selfish player, if he cannot score another one he can do it [assist]. Kevin needs the movement for Erling. Kevin with Erling was great but everyone makes their contributions."

City will find out their opponents for the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Wednesday night.
