Kent’s veteran all-rounder Darren Stevens blasted an unbeaten century for St Lawrence & Highland Court in their Kent League Division 1 win over Dartford on Saturday.

Stevens continued his recovery from injury with a 115-ball 158 not out which included 13 fours and seven maximums - although the 46-year-old did not bowl.

Will Hilton (50) also was among the runs, helping St Lawrence to 309-4 from 50 overs.

Gurveer Singh Saini hit 120 for Dartford in reply but they were 219 all out in the 50th over.

Thomas Copestake (4-39) was the pick of the bowlers for leaders St Lawrence.

Premier Division frontrunners Hayes beat Beckenham by nine wickets.

Alex Senn won the toss and then helped Beckenham get off to a decent start alongside Nick Rigg before the latter was dismissed for 24, leaving the visitors 42-1.

The arrival of James Fear brought an increase in momentum, with Senn accumulating steadily at the other end to move Beckenham on to 103-2 before Senn was dismissed for 41.

James Fear (31) shortly followed, though, as Beckenham slumped to 171-9. Andrew Eddicott (3-31) was the pick of the home bowlers.

Hayes set about their chase in impressive fashion and, despite Gareth Severin being dismissed for 52, captain James Bamber (64 not out) and William MacVicar (45 not out) got them over the line in the 35th over.

Minster are second having beaten Bexley by seven wickets.

Fielding first, Minster restricted Bexley to 166 all out, despite George Haley’s 68. Joseph Parry (3-44) was the pick of Minster’s bowlers.
