Katie O'Brien and Steven McGowan have won their PR2 Mixed Double Sculls heat at the World Rowing Championships in Belgrade.

The are into Saturday’s final and have also qualified their boat for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

Fiona Murtagh and Aifric Keogh are into the A/B semi-final of the women's pair.

They stormed to victory in their repechage on Tuesday morning.

The men's four of John Kearney, Jack Dorney, Adam Murphy and Fionnán McQuillan-Tolan
finished fifth in their repechage and will go to the 'C' final

The men’s quad of Brian Colsh, Andrew Sheehan, Ronan Byrne and Konan Pazzaia were fourth in their repechage and will also head to a 'C' final.
