Kate Garraway 'broken' following husband's death as friend shares update on Good Morning Britain star

Kate Garraway has been described as 'broken' by one of her friends as she offered an update on the Good Morning Britain star following the tragic death of her husband. The presenter announced earlier this month that Derek Draper had sadly died following a cardiac arrest last month.

The heartbreaking news, shared by Kate on January 5, came almost four years after Derek contracted Covid which completely changed their lives. The former Labour lobbyist-turned-psychotherapist became ill with the virus at the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
