Loose Women's Denise Welch branded a 'queen' as she sports suspenders after 'don't care' message with famous face

Denise Welch has been branded a 'Queen' and a 'goddess' as she posed up a storm in a pair of suspenders as she gears up for her next acting role. Last month, the Loose Women star stunned fans when she transformed into the actual late Queen Elizabeth II for a show.

At the time, Denise took to the stage at the Hammersmith Apollo for a one-off concert version of Diana the Musical alongside West End star Kerry Ellis as the late Princess of Wales.

Now though, the 65-year-old is sporting a completely different look as she prepares to star in the new play, The Gap, at Manchester's Hope Mill Theatre which is by award-winning playwright Jim Cartwright and stars Denise and actor and TV star Matthew Kelly.

It tells the story of Walter (Matthew) and Corral (Denise) who reunite after 50 years apart and Denise has already been seen getting into character.

Taking to Instagram, the former Coronation Street star shared a picture of herself posing in a red corset. She also showcased her toned pins as she paired the sexy top with a pair of black stockings and a pair of matching heels while also wearing a silk cover-up.

Alongside the snap, Denise shared a line of dialogue from Corral which said: "The most powerful place on the planet. It's the 4 inch gap of leg flesh betwixt stocking top and knicker edge. What is about that space that drives the male demented, that fosters such devotion and frenzy?"

She then added: "From 'The Gap' by Jim Cartwright. @hopemilltheatre Feb 9th to March 9th. #thegap." And the post quickly garnered plenty of comments.
