Karim Adeyemi told how he can secure future move to Man United after completing Dortmund switch

Karim Adeyemi has been tipped for a move to Manchester United in the future, with the player’s former chairman admitting it was “far too early” for a move to Old Trafford this summer.

Adeyemi had been linked with United before he had his move to Borussia Dortmund announced earlier this week. The Bundesliga club acted quickly to find a replacement for Erling Haaland, with the Norwegian set to complete his move to Manchester City.

United’s interest in Adeyemi was confirmed by the player’s agent ahead of completing his move to Dortmund. Thomas Solomon revealed his client turned down a move to United in favour of heading back to his native Germany.

Liverpool were also said to have been in the running for the 20-year-old, although Manfred Schwabl – president of Adeyemi’s former club SpVgg Unterhaching – believes the time wasn’t right for the youngster to head to the Premier League. However, he does believe a move to Old Trafford could still be possible.

“It depends on how he develops,” Schwabl told Sky Sports Austria when asked about Adeyemi's potential future move to Liverpool or United. “From the whole constellation, from the way of playing soccer, from the speed, the urge to score and the down to earthness, he is predestined.

“Liverpool and Manchester United are clubs that are desperate for such players. But it’s still far too early for that.

“Karim can influence that all by himself with the way he plays soccer, how he asserts himself in Dortmund, and also how he develops personally and continues to remain so down to earth. The English clubs as a whole are not only looking for good kickers, but also for players who they can market
