Kaizer Chiefs confirm seven contract extensions

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that seven players have signed new deals with Amakhosi, including defender Reeve Frosler and midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo.

On the final day of the January transfer window, Chiefs have given more details on the players who will be wearing the gold and black Amakhosi colours for the next few years.

The 22-year-old Ngcobo, midfielder Keletso Sifama (19) and defender Thabo Mokoena (21) have signed new deals that will keep them at Chiefs until 2024.

Signing new three-year extensions are Frosler and defender Happy Mashiane (24), while attacking midfielder Sabelo Radebe (21) will be at the club until 2026.

Chiefs Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr confirmed the news via the club's website.

"We are happy that we were able to secure these seven players' services for an extended period," Motaung Jr said.

"We have to ensure that our future is secured, and these are the players that will form an integral part in building a formidable team in years to come. This is in line with our strategy and primary focus of reducing the average age of the squad and building a young dynamic team for the future.

"There are senior players' contracts that need to be reviewed and we are in the process of evaluating and finalising those deals. We will make further announcements in due course."
