Juventus target Lewis Ferguson AND his manager as Scot forms key part of major Turin rebuild

Juventus have reportedly agreed a deal in principle with Bologna for Thiago Motta to become their new manager next season - sparking fresh talk that Scottish star Lewis Ferguson could follow him to Turin.

The 24-year-old has been nothing short of a revelation since swapping Pittodrie for the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara in a £3million deal in July 2022, and his 13 strikes in 62 Serie A games have seen him overtake icon Denis Law as the highest scoring Scot in the history of the Italian top-flight. Ferguson has taken his game to another level under Motta, so much so that his esteemed manager has handed him the captain's armband this season. The Brazilian-born coach reserved special praise for his skipper last month when he described him as a 'warrior' who always gives a '10/10' performance.

The Hamilton Accies academy graduate's exploits have not gone unnoticed, with Juventus, AC Milan, Napoli and several clubs in the English Premier
