Justin Herbert is reportedly in a good shape to start for the Los Angeles Chargers this weekend following his injury scare last week. With Justin Herbert, the Los Angeles Chargers have a quarterback who has every bit of talent that you could ask for, with an incredible arm and enough mobility to get out of trouble when he needs it.
And that skill set has already been providing some incredible results. He set a number of records in his first two seasons in the NFL, including having the most passing yards in a quarterback’s first two seasons with 9,350, the most total touchdowns in a quarterback’s first two seasons with 77 and he also became the first quarterback to record 30 touchdown passes in each of his first two seasons.
So coming into 2022, and in an AFC West division that looks incredibly solid and tough to get out of this season, there was a lot to be confident about that they could make it back to the playoffs for the first time since the 2018 season, and that Herbert would be a big part of it.
Last week however, he suffered what looked like a very worrying injury in their Thursday Night game against their division rival Kansas City Chiefs in a thrilling game at Arrowhead, as he took a big hit to the ribs from Mike Danna that required him to miss a couple of plays, and even when he came back in he was visibly struggling.
