As the countdown to the Champions League final moves from days to hours, Liverpool have been handed two crucial injury boosts.
Jurgen Klopp welcomed Fabinho back to training on Wednesday as the Brazilian stepped up his recovery from a thigh complaint which ruled him out of the final two Premier League games of the season as well as the FA Cup final. The defensive midfielder was always confident he would be fit to face Real Madrid on Saturday and appears poised to start in the No. 6 role at the Stade de France.
The situation surrounding Thiago was viewed as more touch-and-go compared to his teammate's after the Spanish maestro hobbled off against Wolves on Sunday.
