Jurgen Klopp gave credit to assistant Peter Krawietz and the analysis team for the vital opening goal of Liverpool's 2-0 win over Inter.

Roberto Firmino flicked home a header from the near post in the second period before Mohamed Salah doubled the advantage in what was a tough examination in the San Siro.

Firmino, a second-half substitute for Diogo Jota - who faces a Thursday morning assessment on an ankle injury - nodded in from Andy Robertson's corner after 75 minutes before Salah registered his 24th of the campaign inside the final 10.

Klopp credited the work of assistant manager Krawietz and his back-room team for helping exploit the weakness of the Nerazzurri at the corner.

“Pete Kraweitz and our analysts are responsible for that," Klopp said about Firmino's goal.

"When we do the analysis, we see who the opponents are defending, everybody does that.
