Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho make Leicester City confessions as star put on transfer 'list'

Your Leicester City headlines today...

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says he will not watch Manchester City live again after watching them move a step closer to lifting the Premier League title in a victory over Leicester City in 2019.

The Liverpool chief remembers the game, almost three years ago now, as the moment where the Premier League title moved from within their reach due to a stunning Vincent Kompany long-range strike. It handed City the win that they needed to leapfrog Liverpool and sit at the top of the Premier League table heading into the final game of the season.

Klopp remembers that game fondly having wanted Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers to make a substitution moments before City took the lead. Klopp said: "I still remember exactly what I was thinking at the time. [James] Maddison was tired and I was thinking 'come on Brendan, sub him!' and it was that exact area that Kompany fired the ball into the goal from.

"That was the last time I've watched them. We have to learn from our mistakes sometimes so that's something I don't do now. This whole thing about who plays first or last. We know the situation - we just have to win. But I don't think they are too bothered whether they play first or if we play first."

Roma manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that the upcoming tie against Leicester City will be "so tough" as they "chase the dream" of reaching the Europa Conference League final.

The two sides meet in the semi-final first leg this Thursday evening at the King Power Stadium. A return trip to the Stadio Olimpico follows exactly a week later and will decide which one will participate in next month's showpiece at the Arena Kombëtare in Tirana, Albania.
