Jude Bellingham reacts to Manchester United’s heavy defeat to Liverpool

Fans have spotted Jude Bellingham's reaction following Liverpool’s 7-0 thrashing of Manchester United.

The Reds were handed their heaviest defeat in 92 years at Anfield on Sunday, shipping six second-half goals amid a horrific team showing. The result comes at odds with United's form this season and they are still seven points ahead of their rivals in the table.

However, the scoreline left United fans scathing as the club suffered their biggest ever defeat to Liverpool. It seems Borussia Dortmund star Bellingham was watching on amid repeated links with a switch to Merseyside.

After full-time, Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold posted a photo of the scoreboard alongside a selfie with the This Is Anfield tunnel sign. Among those who liked the post was Bellingham, who is good friends with the right-back.

The pair were often seen pictured together while on England duty at the World Cup as links of a summer transfer away from Germany for Bellingham heighten. The Manchester Evening News understands that United are open to facilitating a move for the midfielder should he wish to consider an Old Trafford switch.

The 19-year-old had been the subject of a sizeable transfer ploy from United prior to his move to Dortmund aged 16, the Reds setting up meetings with historical club icons to try and lure him to Carrington.
