Judd Trump was ‘absolutely over the moon’ for his mate Jack Lisowski after he stunned Neil Robertson in the second round of the World Snooker Championship, admitting that he wasn’t sure Jackpot believed he could score the huge win.

It was a Crucible classic in the last 16 as Robertson made just the 12th 147 break at the Sheffield theatre, but Lisowski held his nerve to take the game to a decider and got over the line.

‘Did he win?’ Judd asked. ‘I’m over the moon, absolutely over the moon. I’m delighted fir him, I know that’s a huge, huge win for him so I can’t wait to see him now.’
