Journalist claims Ange now faces 'blow' at Celtic after big development

Journalist Pete O’Rourke has reacted to the development that emerged recently that Ben Doak may be set for a move away from Celtic.

Ben Doak is a 16-year-old midfielder who has featured twice in the Scottish Premiership for Celtic this season, according to Transfermarkt. Although he is yet to be awarded a professional contract, Doak was given first-team minutes in high-profile games against Dundee United and Rangers.

According to The Athletic, Ben Doak is heavily on the radar of Premier League giants Liverpool and Celtic would be able to receive only a minimal sum for the midfielder due to him not even signing a professional deal yet.

Ben Doak has been highly praised when Pete O’Rourke spoke to GIVEMESPORT as he reported that it would be a “blow for Celtic” if they lose him.

“It’s a blow for Celtic to lose Doak, who is highly-rated at the club. He has been given a few first-team opportunities under Ange Postecoglou this season, as well,” O’Rourke said.
