Jota spotted at Liverpool vs Benfica as Celtic star cheers on Lisbon pals for Champions League showdown

Celtic wing king Jota has been spotted outside Anfield ahead of Liverpool's Champions League quarter-final with Benfica.

The Portuguese star is on a season long loan in Glasgow from the Lisbon club and he was seen in the streets surrounding the Reds' famous home – with one fan in the Kop spotting him for a picture.

Jota will likely be cheering on his old teammates while Liverpool 's very own Jota – Diogo – will of course be on the pitch.

Benfica supporters have travelled in big numbers and they'll be determined to make themselves heard on Merseyside as they look to overturn a 3-1 home defeat last week.

The winners take on Villarreal in the semi-finals of the Champions League after their shock win against Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.

Jota started his career in the youth ranks of Benfica in 2007.

He made his full debut for the first team in a 3–0 away win over Sertanense in the third round of the Taça de Portugal in 2018.
