Jose Mourinho sent-off after furious touchline reaction to Manchester United decision
Jose Mourinho was sent-off during Fenerbahce's Europa League clash with his former club Manchester United after his furious reaction to a decision that went against his team.
The Portuguese boss was incandescent that his side weren't awarded a penalty shortly before the hour mark when Manuel Ugarte made contact with full-back Bright Osayi-Samuel.
Osayi-Samuel threw himself to the ground after Ugarte came in to make the tackle at the moment he passed the ball away. Referee Clement Turpin waved the penalty away and there was no VAR review, with replays clearly showing minimal contact between the two players.

That didn't stop the Fenerbahce bench reacting furiously when Osayi-Samuel went down, with Diogo Dalot eventually kicking the ball out to allow the player to be treated.
During the break in play the fourth official restored order on the touchline and Turpin walked over to the Fenerbahce technical area to show a red card. It wasn't clear who had been sent-off but Mourinho eventually made his way to a platform behind the dugout.
He was greeted by another Fenerbahce coach sitting behind him, who appeared to be gesturing that he thought he had been sent off, only for Mourinho to point to himself.
