Jordie Barrett starts as Tommy O'Brien drops out of Leinster squad
Jordie Barrett will start for Leinster against La Rochelle in Sunday's Investec Champions Cup clash after Tommy O'Brien was forced to drop out of the squad with an injury.
O'Brien suffered the setback during the captain's run on Friday. He has not travelled to France, with Leo Cullen forced to make a couple of tweaks in the wing's absence.
Barrett, who had intiially been named on the bench, starts at full-back with Jamie Osborne going to left wing and Jimmy O'Brien now stationed on the right. Ciarán Frawley makes the bench having been absent since hurting his back against Bristol Bears in December.
Tighthead prop Tadhg Furlong will play for the first time since Leinster's win against Munster back in mid-October, having struggled with a hamstring injury.
Kick-off at the Stade Marcel Deflandre is 3.15pm Irish time.
