Jordan Henderson was fuming after Joel Matip smacked him on head in Inter 0-2 Liverpool

Liverpool have moved one step in the Champions League quarter-finals after defeating Inter Milan 2-0 in their last-16 first leg tie at the San Siro on Wednesday evening.

The Reds were not at their best but managed to win the game with two late goals.

Roberto Firmino entered the game at half-time and he scored the opener in the 75th minute.

Andy Robertson swung in a corner and the Brazilian rose glanced the ball past Samir Handanović and into the net.

Mohamed Salah then doubled their advantage seven minutes later to give Liverpool a commanding lead heading into the second leg at Anfield.

There was a comical moment featuring Joel Matip after Firmino’s opener 15 minutes from time.

Firmino and Liverpool’s players ran to the touchline to celebrate.

Joel Matip was on the touchline and randomly decided to smack a few Liverpool players on the head, including Jordan Henderson.

And Henderson did not look very happy at all. The England captain gave him a very intense glare before shouting a few words at him. Watch the moment below…
