Jordan Henderson's reaction to being booed during Newcastle 0-1 Liverpool
Liverpool picked up yet another Premier League victory on Saturday afternoon.
Jurgen Klopp‘s side took on an in-form Newcastle United side at St James’ Park, a match which many believed could be a potential banana skin.
Liverpool made a number of changes to their starting XI as well due to their involvement in the Champions League, but they still managed to pick up three more precious points.
A brilliant first half goal from Naby Keita was enough for a 1-0 win that keeps the pressure on Manchester City at the top of the table.
Liverpool were pretty impressive on the day, with club captain Jordan Henderson helping them dominate the middle of the park.
Aside from a shocking free-kick that Trent Alexander-Arnold had a little giggle at, Henderson performed brilliantly and was handed a deserved rest by Klopp in the second half.
As he was replaced by Fabinho in the 69th minute, the Englishman was subjected to boos from the home crowd because of his Sunderland roots.
And judging by the beaming smile on his face, Henderson loved every single second of the hostile reception…

Well played, Jordan.
When you’re the captain of a team chasing an unprecedented quadruple, a chorus of boos certainly isn’t going to put you in a bad mood.
Liverpool will now look to reach the Champions League final for the third time in five seasons next Tuesday when they travel to Villarreal for their semi-final second leg.
The Reds are 2-0 up from the first leg and are expected to progress with relative ease.
After their trip to sunny Spain, Liverpool resume their Premier League campaign on the Saturday with a tough home match against Tottenham
