Joleon Lescott makes Man City vs Real Madrid Champions League prediction

Joleon Lescott has tipped Manchester City as favourites for their Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid.

City secured their spot in the final four of the competition after a dramatic night against Atletico Madrid. The Blues held on to their 1-0 advantage from the first leg as the return fixture ended goalless, but the game ended in chaos.

Analysing the upcoming semi-finals, Rio Ferdinand told BT Sport: “Just beware, Unai Emery. His record in Europe is phenomenal. Just saying, it’s a fact.”

Lescott added on City’s meeting with Real: “Massive tie. To go into that game as favourites is massive as well.”

Owen Hargreaves added: “Liverpool were great in the group of death, a really tough group. Shame Chelsea didn’t go through, I thought they were fabulous, but the experience of Real was tough. Man City and Liverpool
