'John Stones at right-back should be interesting' - Man City fans split by Real Madrid team news

Manchester City fans have been sharing their thoughts after their side's starting XI was announced for their Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid.

Joao Cancelo is absent for the match due to suspension and with Kyle Walker also missing through injury, John Stones looks to be starting at right-back for the Blues. Stones was missing for City's fixture against Watford at the weekend but it appears that he has recovered in time for the visit of the Spanish top-flight leaders.

Elsewhere, despite speculation surrounding his future at the Etihad Stadium, Gabriel Jesus has managed to retain his place up front for City. It would have been difficult to justify dropping the Brazilian after scoring four against Watford in the Premier League last weekend.

Fernandinho, Jack Grealish and Raheem Sterling are all dropped to the bench by Pep Guardiola. The Blues have instead opted to bring back Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez.

But with the big talking point surrounding Stones' involvement, here is how Twitter has reacted to the line-up.
