John Cena WWE return: Confirmation of his comeback this month

John Cena is going to be returning to WWE later this month, it’s been confirmed.

John Cena made his WWE debut on the June 27 episode of SmackDown in 2002, losing in singles action to Kurt Angle.

To celebrate 20 years since his debut, WWE has declared June to be ‘Cena Month’, releasing several videos on their various platforms to celebrate John’s career.

And now, it’s been confirmed that Cena will be appearing on the June 27 episode of Raw later this month, 20 years to the day after his debut.

Fans have speculated that he’s going to set up a future match with Theory, the current United States Champion, who has spoken about his desire to work with Cena quite heavily.

In fact, during a recent interview, Cena said that Theory is his favourite WWE Superstar, fuelling the speculation that the pair will be working together when John is back next.
