John Cena: WWE releases 110 incredible never-seen-before photos of the legend

We are coming up to 20 years since John Cena, one of wrestling’s biggest ever stars, debuted in WWE.

On the June 27 episode of SmackDown in 2002, Cena made his first appearance on WWE TV, losing in an iconic match against Kurt Angle.

WWE has labelled June 2022 as ‘Cena month’, celebrating 20 years since the iconic WWE Superstar made his debut.

In celebration of that, WWE has now released 110 incredibly rare never-seen-before photos of Cena, and they’re absolutely brilliant.

We’ll show a selection of the images below, but if you want to check out the entire gallery and see all 110 images, you can check them all out by clicking here.

The first is of Cena backstage at WrestleMania 34 with The Undertaker, after they had their impromptu match at the show in 2018.

The next is of Cena as a child playing with some action figures, showing just how far back his love for sports entertainment really goes.

Another is of Cena in a rarely-seen-before photo taken during a bodybuilding competition, where he looks absolutely stacked.

There are some incredible behind-the-scenes photos featured in the gallery, so seriously, they’re worth you checking out.

Speaking of Cena, the Hollywood megastar is rumoured to be arriving back in WWE soon, and the belief is he’s be returning by WrestleMania 39 next year.

The 16-time World Champion has also been ranked pretty highly on the list of the 100 greatest WWE Superstars, which you can check out in full by clicking here.

You can watch WWE Hell in a Cell tomorrow night live in the US on Peacock and in the UK on BT Sport.
