John Cena sings praises of former WrestleMania opponent The Miz

John Cena has praised The Miz on his passion and dedication to get to the main event of WrestleMania.

As John Cena’s produced docu-series WWE Evil hit Peacock this week, it led to an interesting exchange between the sixteen-time world champion and current WWE Superstar The Miz across Twitter.

Responding to fans who tweeted on the episode that focusses on The Miz, the A-Lister used the opportunity to taunt Cena and asked if he remembered the time, he beat him at WrestleMania. A reference to the main event of WrestleMania 27 when Miz defeated Cena for the WWE Championship in 2011. A match famous for the spark that set the wheels in motion for Cena’s epic battle with The Rock, who was guest host for the event.

The 44-year-old Hollywood star replied to the former foe, by stating:

I do. Vividly. You worked your a** off on the road to the event and at the event itself. Sacrificing your body during the event to do all you could to give the audience every ounce, even possibly at the expense of your own memory. Your passion and dedication hasn’t ever changed.
