John Cena radio prank that has 50 million views on YouTube

Who doesn’t love a good prank call? Throw in John Cena’s famed track ‘My Time Is Now’ and you’ve got a recipe for success right there.

A track used for meme templates long beyond its sell by date all the way to the point it regains relevancy, Cena’s appeal as a meme has matched that of his wrestling, acting and charitable endeavours in its longevity.

This is evident by a clip having gone seriously viral on YouTube of Cena’s track being used for a hilarious prank call trying to get a caller to purchase ‘WWE SuperSlam’ (a parody version of WWE’s annual PPV SummerSlam), to watch Cena compete in a string of ridiculous challenges.

These ranged from a Steel Cage Shoots and Ladders Match to a multi-man with Sheamus, CM Punk, The Undertaker, Triple H and Big Show in a, and I quote, spit-swapping make out match.

Lovely stuff.

The entire thing took place as part of a phone scam from a local radio show targeting an unsuspecting woman who grew increasingly frustrated with the Cena prank call, in hilarious, expletive fuelled fashion.

Eventually, the woman was informed of the prank, bringing an end to the Cena-related chaos.

Outside of the prank call realm, Cena has been prepping for return to WWE in 2022, ahead of the SummerSlam event in August, as WWE are pushing this month as 20-years of Cena month, to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of his famous WWE debut against Kurt Angle on SmackDown.

Social media teases have shown Cena as likely to go up against WWE’s United States Champion Theory, who has been speculated to be seen as the next John Cena by WWE chairman Vince McMahon.

Either way, the prank call lady will be furious.
