Johan Lange sent Aston Villa message as Steven Gerrard 'reignites' interest in £50m transfer

Aston Villa have reportedly "reignited" their interest in Brighton's £50 million-rated midfielder, Yves Bissouma.

Bissouma is now back from the Africa Cup of Nations after Mali were eliminated in the round of 16.

The Telegraph are reporting that Villa have already had a £25 million bid rejected earlier this month, but still remain interested in the deal, whether that is today or in summer.
