Joe Hart retirement has Celtic pal bring out Rangers title fight talk as he targets perfect finale

Joe Hart has decided to call it a day on his stunning career at the end of the season - and ONE Hoops pal wants him to finish on the ultimate high by winning the title over Rangers.

The veteran Hoops No1 made the major announcement on his plans today as he gets ready to move onto his next chapter. The 36-year-old has been an ever-present since his arrival in Scotland and a key figure in the dressing room alongside the likes of skipper Callum McGregor. He was the undisputed first choice under Ange Postecoglou - the man who brought him to Parkhead - and that has continued this campaign under Brendan Rodgers with his big saves and performances of late praised by the supporters.

It's been a challenging time for the champions domestically in recent times and after drooping points to Kilmarnock last weekend, Hart and Co are now trailing rivals Rangers at the summit by two points after an incredible turn around in fortunes under Philippe Clement since he's taken over the top job in Govan from Michael Beale.

But Greg Taylor is determined to make sure Hart signs off his career, which has included huge Champions League nights, English Premier League success and 75 England caps, with the Scottish Premiership crown and Scottish Cup on his CV once again.

Sharing the video of his decision to call it a day in the summer, Hart posted on Instagram: "To everyone at @celtcfc this message is for clarification and so we can all move together on the same page. I’ll do my best to express what your amazing club means to me once this season concludes and I’ll share how honoured I am to have represented it for three years. Until then,
