Joe Hart is perfect Celtic fit insists Trevor Sinclair as close pal admits to being proven wrong over keeper's 'fight'

Trevor Sinclair worried Joe Hart’s career was fizzling out.

Then Celtic gave his old Manchester City pal the spark to succeed again.

Hart has been one of the star signings of Ange Postecoglou’s Parkhead revolution.

The club have a serious shot of securing the Treble and can take a giant leap towards that clean sweep in Sunday’s Scottish Cup Old Firm showdown.

It has been terrific viewing for Celtic supporter Sinclair who 12 months ago feared for Hart’s top-level future.

The keeper had played only 13 matches – all in cup competitions – for Burnley then Tottenham in two seasons.

And Sinclair suspected, after 75 England caps on top of five major trophies while on the books at City, Hart’s hunger might be on the wane.

He’s delighted, then, that wasn’t the case. Hart took a pay cut to move from Spurs to Scotland and is bagging the rewards that matter to a proper top-class pro – winners’ medals.

Ex-West Ham and Three Lions winger Sinclair said: “What you’ve done before is great. But you’ve got to go and prove yourself again.

“And I wasn’t sure that Joe had that fight. It looked like he was struggling a little bit.

“He’s a wealthy boy. And sometimes when you have the wealth Joe’s got, you can lack that
