Joe Aribo in Rangers injury sweat as Gio van Bronckhorst reveals two fresh concerns after Red Star

Rangers manager Gio van Bronckhorst is sweating on the fitness of Joe Aribo for this weekend's Scottish Cup quarter-final.

A stunning 3-0 over Red Star in the Europa League has the Ibrox side on a high, but focus must immediately switch back to domestic matters.

The Premiership champions travel to Dens Park on Sunday for a meeting with Mark McGhee's side, but have doubts over the fitness of both Aribo and John Lundstram, who picked up a knock on Thursday night.

Van Bronckhorst said: "Physically it was a tough match last night, we have a couple concerns with Lundstram's ankle and we have to assess Aribo also before Sunday.

"We will have a strong line-up as we want to be in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup.

"We are one game away and the cup competition is very important to us as has been a while since we have won a cup.

"We have everything to play for and we will park Europe and fully focus on Sunday.

"We have to rest and recover well. The mindset of the players is fantastic as they are all in recovery mode."

Scott Arfield will not be fit for the trip to Dens but Van Bronckhorst offered hope he'll be ready for Serbia.
