Joan Jordan 'comes to his senses' as Rangers told the transfer rules to land Sevilla's Mr Unwanted

Joan Jordan has 'come to his senses' over his Sevilla future and is already listening to offers to depart the La Liga side.

Rangers have been strongly linked to the midfielder and the Ibrox side have reportedly seen one loan bid booted out by the Spanish side. Philippe Clement is working on a budget this summer with the Belgian boss revealing he must sell before he buys to fund his rebuild. Sevilla sports director Victor Orta has already declared that it would be 'better' for the midfielder to leave the Europa League experts this summer but the issue being faced to date is the fact no team is willing to offer the high salary he currently earns.

Que! Deportes report that the 30-year-old has now accepted his fate and his parent club could now be willing to accept a loan in which they pay less than 50 per cent of his salary. The report states: "Joan Jordán has finally accepted that his future does not lie with Sevilla FC . The attacker, who initially wanted to stay to make a place for himself in García Pimienta's team, has come to his senses and is already listening to offers from far away from the Andalusian capital, although so far none of them have convinced the player or the club."

It continues: "It seems that Sevilla FC could end up accepting a loan in which they pay less than 50% of Joan Jordán's salary , conditions that Rangers FC could meet in their next offer."
