Jittery Celtic regulars smell something stinky as pungent Rangers paranoia engulfs extra bonkers Hotline

It's crunch time in the Scottish Premiership title race and this weekend sees the games before the gargantuan one on May 11.

And the feeling in cinch circles is that either Celtic or Rangers could stumble given their respective opposition this weekend. Celtic host Hearts having lost home and away in their last two meetings with Steven Naismith's side, while Philippe Clement takes his team to Kilmarnock on Sunday, where the season started so badly for Michael Beale.

Of course, the agendas are always bubbling under and Naismith's shared Ibrox past with Derek McInnes is raising Celts' suspicions, in the Jambos' case mainly based on their rotten record against Rangers this season. Manager of the year nominee McInnes insists Killie can't help who wins the title, but those hoping for a third title triumph at Celtic Park aren't having it. John Caw emailed: "How can McInnes refute that they can’t help who wins title. Both he and Naismith are former Ibrox men. I am sure if they can’t win it they have a say who can. I know which team they won’t help." What John is forgetting, of course, is McInnes masterminded a victory over Rangers on the first day of the season.

Gary Stevenson, Newtonhill, wants one Celtic in particular to come out and say what he thinks. He said: "Why doesn't Kenny Wilson from Moffat just come out and say it. If he thinks that both Hearts and Kilmarnock will not try as hard to beat Rangers. Don't go around the houses. If he thinks that cheating is going on in Scottish football surely he has the bravado to say it. Always cheated, never defeated (again and again)."
